is an authorised and regulated alternative investment fund manager focusing on generating value for our investors through careful sourcing of opportunities and deep operational engagement. We are supervised by the Maltese Financial Services Authority under the EU Alternative Investment Fund Manager Directive (AIFMD) and currently manage funds investing in special situations, real estate, renewable energy and fixed income.

Our history

APartners Capital Investment Management was born from the initiative of its founder, Antonio Polverino who, after a twenty-year international career in the international investment banking sector, decided to capitalize on his past experience and become an entrepreneur in 2013.
Initially born in London as APartners Capital and authorized by the English regulator in March 2014, the company started its activity in investment advisory for private equity and financial institutions on NPL portfolios and real estate assets. In 2016, it expanded its scope of activity to the management of closed-end alternative investment funds exclusively dedicated to professional investors, becoming APartners Capital Investment Management. Today the company operates in Malta with an AIFM (Alternative Investment Fund Manager) license issued by the Maltese financial authorities.

Antonio Polverino

Founder

Antonio founded APartners Capital Investment Management in 2017. He is the chair of the Investment Committee.
Prior to APartners Capital, Antonio worked for Royal Bank of Scotland, Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan and Banca Commerciale Italiana.
Antonio graduated summa cum laude in Economics with a specialization in Finance at "Luigi Bocconi" University.

Fulvio Molvetti

Chief Operating Officer

Fulvio joined APartners Capital in 2017 as a Director.
Prior to APartners Capital, he worked for Barclays Capital Ltd, Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan Securities and Banca Commerciale Italiana.
Fulvio graduated summa cum laude at the University "Luigi Bocconi" in Business Administration.

Josh Silver

Head of Acquisitions

Josh joined APartners Capital in 2017 as a Director.
Prior to APartners Capital, Josh worked for Deutsche Bank and Shearman & Sterling.
Josh has degrees from University College London and the College of Law, London.

Giovanni Tarditi

Giovanni joined APartners Capital in 2018.
Prior to APartners Capital, he worked for Deutsche Bank, Credito Italiano and Caboto.
Giovanni graduated summa cum laude in Economics at "Luigi Bocconi" University.

Roberto Scognamiglio

Head of Renewables

Roberto joined APartners Capital in 2021 as Head of Renewables.
Prior to APartners Capital, Roberto co-founded and led Alleans Renewables Group as CEO since its foundation in 2017.
Roberto graduated in Aeronautical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.

Vincenzo Borgogna

Chief Financial Officer

Vincenzo joined APartners Capital in 2019. Prior to Apartners Capital, Vincenzo worked for Eshraq Properties, Al-Muhaidib Contracting, Uniland SpA, Seregni Group, Parmalat, HSBC and Citibank.
Vincenzo holds a General Management Program from Harvard Business School and an Advanced Management Program from IPADE Business School. He is Certified Public Accountant and Certified Auditor. He graduated summa cum laude from “Luigi Bocconi” University.

Stefano Barbato

Stefano joined APartners Capital in 2021.
Prior to APartners Capital he worked in in Pirelli, Telecom Italia, Sky/ NewsCorp/ Comcast.
Stefano graduated summa cum laude at the University "Luigi Bocconi" in Economics, he attained a Master degree at London School of Economics and Political Science.

Antonio is seconded from Amagis Capital.
Prior to Amagis Capital, Antonio was a teaching assistant at “Luigi Bocconi” University.

Maida joined APartners Capital in 2022. Prior to that Maida worked for Malta Financial Services Authority, National Bank of Greece, Refinitiv and Thomson Reuters.
Maida is a certified AML and Financial Crime Specialist and has graduated in Political Science from the Kapodistrian University of Athens.
